LAKE INNES HOUSE RUINS TOUR Wednesday – March 6th

Innes Ruins has a charming setting looking over Lake Innes and is an important remnant of early settlement days on the north coast of NSW. Built by Major Archibald Clunes Innes, it contains rich history about the settlement of NSW, convict labour and the culture of the 1800s. Morning tea and a guided tour of this once grand country mansion are included. Enjoy lunch at Panthers Settlement City.

Our most popular shopping trip. Arrive at Stocklands Mall around 10am. Stores include Kmart, Target, Aldi, Lowes, Millers, Best & Less, Reject Shop, Pet Barn, Bunnings. Enjoy lunch at one of the many yummy eateries. After lunch browse the interesting boutique shops and op shops just over the bridge in Forster.

  STUARTS POINT TO SCOTTS HEAD Thursday – March 28th

$30 per person (lunch not included)   Pick up between 8.30 & 9.00

We head north with morning tea at South Kempsey service centre. We then take a scenic drive via Scotts Head, Yarrahapinni, Grassy Head, Stuarts Point and Fishermans Reach. We enjoy a Chinese lunch at Stuarts Point Workers Club before returning home.


OTHER SIDE ART CAFE & OLD BAR Thursday – April 4th

$30 per person (morning tea & lunch not included)   Pick up between 8.30 & 9.00

We travel south to The other Side Art Café and its tranquil location set on the banks of the Ghinni Ghinni River. Afterwards a scenic drive via the Wallabi Point and Saltwater. Today we enjoy an excellent lunch at the rejuvenated Club Old Bar. 


LINDA'S MYSTERY MADNESS NEW TRIP Wednesday – March 13th

Offering stunning views, the Bean Bar is Taree’s award winning cafe, restaurant, licenced bar & function venue specialising in locally sourced fresh food and coffee, as well as famous friendly service. The Bean Bar is perfectly situated, right next to the beautiful Manning River and Queen Elizabeth Park in Taree. At the Bean Bar Café you can enjoy the view from the fantastic alfresco dining area, or relax on comfortable sofas.

BELLINGEN MARKETS   Saturday – May 18th

Cost $35 per person   Pick up between 7.00 & 7.30

One of our most popular day trips. Arrive at the markets around 10am. With over 260 stalls every month the park comes alive with music, artisans, growers, creators, recyclers, buskers, masseuses, various services and community groups and a large range of delicious multi-cultural foods, great coffee and beverages. Browse the market stalls & wander around the main street with all the shops, galleries & eateries open. 


WINGHAM SCOTTISH FESTIVAL & MUSEUM Saturday – June 1st

Cost $30 per person (Includes Museum entry)   Pick up between 7.45 & 8.15

Travel south to Wingham and join all the festivities including market & Clan stalls, street parade, Highland Games, Pipe bands and dancing. Also included is entry to the very interesting Wingham Museum. with items of clothing, fabrics, hats, boots, ironmongery, crockery, glassware, patent medicines, photographs, furniture, fashions, phonographs from the past. Lunch is at your own expense at the pub, club or one of the many stalls or eateries. Always a fun day out


AN AFTERNOON AT THE PROMS  ($80 deposit required) Sunday – June 2nd

This lovely little cafe cum boat shed has a beautiful location right on the Manning River at Manning Point near where the river joins the ocean. Sitting out on the deck is a tranquil experience on a glorious day and feeding the fish is part of the experience. Food is predominantly seafood as you would expect.


CHRISTMAS IN JULY LUNCH - COMBOYNE Sunday – July 7th

You’re invited to a unique “Christmas in July” lunch at Comboyne. Step back in time at the Comboyne War Memorial Hall (circa 1922) This fabulous building is the ideal setting for a gourmet 2 course Christmas feast, featuring local Comboyne produce. Tea, coffee and punch supplied but feel free to bring along a bottle of wine. Entertainment is also provided. This is a very popular event for us so be quick to book your seat.

DUNGOG TEA PARTY  Friday – August 23rd

Cost $35 per person   Pick up between 7.00 & 7.30

Replacing the Morpeth Tea Pot Festival. From 2019 Dungog will host the Dungog Tea Party, incorporating a Tea Cosy Challenge, as weli as a Trivet Competition, Ceramics, Pottery, handmade tea related items, tea tastings and lots of other displays. The Tea Cosy Challenge will be located in the historic James Theatre, the oldest still running purpose-built cinema in Australia. Like Morpeth, Dungog has great drawcards such as their cultural and natural heritage and a blooming arts and crafts sector. All within walking distance of the main street are cafes, galleries, antiques, art society shops etc. Food outlets in the main street cafes, Pubs, RSL Club and Tin Shed Brewery.

Tour highlights include ~ Coach transfer to Sydney with time to wander around Chinatown on the first day. Next day we have an informative tour of Vaucluse House, followed by a tour of Elizabeth Bay House where we take in stunning views of the harbor. Tour highlights include ~  A visit to Floriade, Australia’s biggest celebration of Spring. It showcases 1 million flowers in bloom throughout Canberra’s Commonwealth Park. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the gardens with lunch at one of the food outlets. Tulip Top Gardens is a 10 acre garden of magnificent tulips and other spring flowers and hundreds of blossom trees nestle between the flowers and provide a magic pathway to the cascading waterfall and watercourse with classical music wafting through the air in the hidden valley. Take in the stunning views over Lake Burley Griffin and from the Telstra Tower at Black Mountain. Discover the National Arboretum offering spectacular views. At the Australian War Memorial we attend the Last Post Ceremony at 4.55 pm. This is a very moving ceremony for all visitors to the Memorial and is live streamed on the internet. Includes 1 night’s accommodation at Potters Hotel Brewery Resort, continental breakfast, Gardens entry & Train tour with commentary, Christmas Lights spectacular entry fee, wine tasting fee, Cheese tasting fee and lunch both days and dinner.

Tour highlights include ~ Arrive at Pokolbin in time for lunch at the Hunter Valley Gardens Cafe. After lunch we board the miniature train for a 40 minute informative ride through the Gardens with expert commentary. Next we explore the Gardens Village and quaint little shops. Enjoy a quiet ale in the brewery before dinner (dinner included) at the Resort before departing for the Hunter Valley Gardens. The Lights Spectacular is the Southern Hemisphere's biggest and most breathtaking display of over 2 million lights. Booking Details

To book or for further information, simply contact Linda, Michael or Sherri via telephone or email. Pick up times advertised are a guide only and we will contact you prior to the event with a more precise time. For some trips, including overnight and extended trips, Busy Bus will post a confirmation letter with deposit and payment details.

Terms & Conditions

 Morning Tea & Lunch are NOT included in the price of our Day Trips and Tours and are at the passengers own expense unless otherwise stated in our Schedule. 

~ Prices are effective for dates specified but may be subject to change without notice.  ~ Cancellation Fees apply to all bookings.  ~ Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.  ~ Busy Bus reserves the right to vary itineraries in anyway & at any time deemed necessary 

~  Busy Bus has a ‘No Alcohol Policy’ on all buses. It is against the law to consume alcohol on a public passenger bus 


DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE A door to door service is offered on tours where a passenger lives in the Laurieton, North Haven, Lakewood area. For areas outside this there will be designated pick up points. A door to door service may be available to passengers outside of these areas (at an additional cost) and minimum passenger numbers are required. Please speak to our staff at time of booking if you would like further information 


GROUP BOOKINGS & CHARTERS ~ The door to door service does not apply to group bookings Pick up and return details are negotiated at the time of booking and are by agreement and generally as required by the group making the booking

Our vehicles are Transport NSW and RMS approved and adhere to strict safety and maintenance programs and all of our drivers hold Bus Driver Authorities. Our vehicles include the following Higer Ryder Midi Coach (33 leather reclining seats, air conditioned, DVD player, tinted windows, curtains, overhead storage and under floor luggage bins),  Toyota Commuter (12 seat minibus, air conditioned, tinted windows) LDV luxury mini bus (11 seats, air conditioned, tinted windows).
